Robotic audio
This normally happens on Windows. Fixing it requires setting the ASIO driver to the same Buffer Size and Sample Rate as StageWave.
Where to find each: In StageWave Server, in the top-right corner of the Audio Devices section there’s a gear (settings) icon; clicking it opens the audio settings (Sample Rate and Buffer Size). The ASIO driver panel for your mixer or interface usually opens from the manufacturer’s icon in the system tray or from the configuration app you installed with the driver.
Open both the StageWave audio settings and your audio device’s driver panel and check that Sample Rate and Buffer Size match. If they don’t, change the parameters in the driver panel to match StageWave.
Then, it is necessary to restart the audio engine using the top menu of StageWave, choosing the option Mixer -> "Restart audio engine".
