Does StageWave need internet to work?

Not for audio transmission. StageWave sends audio in real time over the local network created by your router (whether by WiFi or network cable).

You only need the computer connected to the internet occasionally:

• To sign in or activate a new account.
• To verify your payment if you have a monthly subscription. (The system gives you 10 days of grace to connect the computer to the internet and validate payment, so you won’t lose service unexpectedly in the middle of an event.)
